Schoolwiana

Last week my class and I have been doing schoolwiana (Schoolwiana is a thing that shows the meaning of what represents your school) we were splited up so it was a bit hard because our teacher was busy. We had to find three icons that represent our school and we had to do a poem about the three icons that we chose.The easy part was finding the icons. The hard part was making the poem. I could improve by nothing really. My evidence is this link.

O.R.E.O

This week my class and I have been writing a O.R.E.O piece of writing for example:

Sports is better than Kapa haka. I disagree because I believe that people could learn new kapa haka waiatas & hakas it'll be fantastic to find new waiata and share that with the world. Secondly if we didn't do Kapa haka how would we get to teach people from other countries so I strongly suggest that sport isn't better than kapa haka. Thirdly I believe that other schools can learn so much from new waitas that they haven't heard before and it'll be so nice for schools all over the world to cary on those waiatas so my suggestion is that sport isn't better than Kapa haka.

The easy part was writing this piece of work. The hard part was thinking  of what to write next. But I got through that and know my writing is complete.

problem solving

This week my class and I were problem solving. The easy part was reading and following the checklist which I will show you now.
My problem was hard but I managed to finished and it was true there are 44,640 min in 31 days.
The hard part was figuring what the answer was.

scones

Today my team and I were baking scones. The easy part was setting up. The hard part was baking them it took us a little late after the others but we made them. I could improve by doing more things because I wasn't helping my mates much.



Homophones

Today I learnt about homophones I learnt that homophones are two words that sound the same but different spelling. The easy part was writing the different words that sound the same. The hard part was nothing really just being involved again but I was a little involved. I could improve by nothing. My evidence is that I could show you two different words that say the same thing for example: There, Their, They're.

Plenary

Last week My group and I were doing our Plenary I only did my reading part it was quit easy so yeah. A plenary is something that shows you what was easy what was hard and what you could improve on when you last edited it. The easy part was writing What was easy.... What was hard.....  What I could improve..... This is my plenary

Last week I created a list of 10 things that were kiwiana and 10 things that weren't kiwiana. The easy part was searching for thing that was or wasn't kiwiana. The hard part was thinking of all the things that wasn't kiwiana. I could improve by putting more interesting words for what isn't kiwiana.

Kiwiana

This week our class (Nga Rau Puawai) Room 3 had to do two tasks this is one of my tasks. The easy part was naming all the kiwiana things and the non kiwiana things. The hard part was making all the shapes into things that I didn't know. I could improve by making it more original and creative. This is about kiwiana if you don't know about kiwiana then keep reading. Kiwiana is something that was born in NZ like sheep's were created in NZ I don't know anymore Examples so yeah. A non-Kiwiana is like MC Donald and Kangaroos for short roos.

Today I have been learning about using speech marks and other punctuation.  The easy part was learning about what quotation marks are. The hard part was that I was slow at working with my buddies. I could improve by being involved in the reading.
