Explain writing

I am learning to write an explain piece of writing.
I know that an explain writing is when you explain about your topic.
I also know that a explain and a persuasive is a different piece of writing.

Persuasive writing is when you use evaluative language and your arguing about your topic.
A explain writing is when you use a passive voice.
There´s nothing more to add but proof.

Thinking critically

This week we have been learning to think critically our S.C is: To question the information we read.
The easy part was reading the book Mahi Tahi.
The hard part was to think critically and seeing if it was true or not but I got it.
I could improve by thinking harder on what to respond on.
Here is my proof: To think critically you must first see the pictures and maybe do some research on the book if it´s not real then here´s another way to question the book and find out if it´s real or not.

Problem solving

I am learning to problem solve in maths, the topic is In the money.
I can use talk moves like can you explain this in another way and others , use a systematic table and explaining about my work that I have done.
I need to work on using my space on my book more wisely.
My next step is to share all my ideas with my group and writing my math expression.
The easy part was writing all the things my group and I discovered about the problem.
The hard part was getting the right answer and crack the code but I got there.
I could improve by making sense in my work.
Here is my proof.

problem solving

This week my class tried to crack this code of tea cups and sauces for problem solving here is a photo.
It was really difficult but some of us managed to crack it well the rest were still stuck.
The easy part was exploring different ways with my group.
The hard part was to actually crack the code.
I could improve by working with all my team mates.

Quick task 3

Last week my group was reading about "what now for rena" our LI is: thinking critically, our S.C is: To question the information when we read LI means Learning intention S.C means success criteria.

The easy part was talking about the book.

The hard part was rewriting in the boxes.

I could improve by learning quicker what critical thinking is.

The skills I am using for reading are sounding out the word that I don´t understand.

This is my proof is that I´ve been using critical thinking to tell if the writer is telling the truth or not.

Thinking critically

This week my group have been learning to think critically and evaluative text .
The easy part was to write what thinking critically means.
The hard Part was doing the quick task what is critically thinking.
I could improve by being more involved in talking to my group.
Here is my proof.

These are what I had to do.

How to make it up to 37

Hi this week my class has been doing how to make it up to 37 using these 4 numbers 1,3,5 and 7 so we had to do it using 10 numbers out of these numbers. I don't know how to explain it in a easier way so for example: 37 is an odd the four numbers are odds but to make 10 numbers to get to 37 because 10 is an even and we should know O+O=E NOT O+E=O that's NOT right so then we know that 1,3,5 or 7 + 10 can't =37 because 10 is a even but my class figured out with some help that we can do O+O=O because we didn't do 10 now we used 9,11 and 13 some odd numbers so it might be confusing but there's my proof.
The easy part was exploring different types of numbers to make 37 it was quit hard and fun. The hard part was trying to get 10 numbers to make 37. I could improve by making this much more easier for you to understand.

Dart board

This week for math's we had to choose 3 activity and I this one and two others I choose this one because this one is better than the others. The easy part was reading the question. The hard part was figuring out the answer of course. What I could improve by adding more evidence.
