Taumarere history

This year our class has discovered stuff about Taumarere history in the Taumarere museum. We have to explain 2 facts about the taumarere trip we had gone on past and present those are the two. 1. the past there use to be a Maori girl school in Taumarere. 2. the present now no one goes to Taumarere some people wonder why well I think it´s because overtime people discovered new things over in Moerewa,  Kawakawa, Kaikohe, Kerikeri, Whangarei and Auckland. There was no easy part I found it a little difficult.
This is a photo of us heading to the Taumarere museum.

Q + A taumarere awa

For the past two weeks we have been doing this. Manu and I have put this down from a slide that others and us have done.

Jackie
I know some people would swim as well as wash themselves.

Who pulled and who pushed?

Manu
I know that back in the day they moved Porowini marae to Otiria On horses.
How many people did it take to bring porowini marae from Taumarere to Otiria?

Thinking critically

This week we have been learning to think critically our S.C is: To question the information we read.
The easy part was reading the book Mahi Tahi.
The hard part was to think critically and seeing if it was true or not but I got it.
I could improve by thinking harder on what to respond on.
Here is my proof: To think critically you must first see the pictures and maybe do some research on the book if it´s not real then here´s another way to question the book and find out if it´s real or not.

Quick task 3

Last week my group was reading about "what now for rena" our LI is: thinking critically, our S.C is: To question the information when we read LI means Learning intention S.C means success criteria.

The easy part was talking about the book.

The hard part was rewriting in the boxes.

I could improve by learning quicker what critical thinking is.

The skills I am using for reading are sounding out the word that I don´t understand.

This is my proof is that I´ve been using critical thinking to tell if the writer is telling the truth or not.
